Chronology of cameras Chinaglia Donenica
The Wega cameras are beautiful cameras heavily inspired by the design of the Leica II. Starting from 1953, the Wega and Wega II were manufactured by A.F.I.O.M. They share components with Chinaglia Domenica's Kristall cameras. Towards the end of the 1950s, Chinaglia Domenica took over their production. Chinaglia Domenica cameras are distinguished by the presence of the CD mark (for Chinaglia Domenica) on the top cover, instead of the AFIOM marking.
The Wega II accepts Leica screw mount lenses. It features a coupled rangefinder. The cloth shutter allows speeds up to 1/1000.
